Arrival and departure at Cartagena international airport

As always we we will make sure we provide calming and comfortable accommodation. Situated on the kite spot or a few minutes of walk from it.
Our package includes breakfast. Lunch and dinner, beverages, and snacks. alcoholic drinks on yours! For lunch and dinner, we will escort you to local restaurants
Improve your level everyday by watching videos of your progression and return home with beautiful memories to share with your friends and family.
Transportation by minibus will be provided between Santa Veronica and Riohacha, followed by a 4×4 ride from Riohacha to Cabo de la Vela and to Punta Gallinas.
Guided downwinder is planned from Punta gallinas to Playa Bonita. The downwinder will be with local guides and a rescue boat.
Perfect synergy of tranquility and the thrill of kiteboarding to have and holistic experience for both beginners and seasoned enthusiasts.
Santa Veronica:
The spot forms a large bay with a side-on wind that secures the place.
There are several kite areas :
– Areas of waves
– Freeride zones
– Some flat areas, ideal for learning
The waves unfold cleanly and are ideal for riders who wish to improve themselves. There are few people in the water and the level is accessible.
The village of Santa Veronica is a small authentic Colombian village bordered by palm trees and small local restaurants.
Cabo de la vela: In addition to feasting on fresh fish for dinner, in this remote village you will find butter flat water, guaranteed strong wind and a beautiful view of the stars at night. Cabo is located along the coast in the middle of the desert where a very simplistic and happy community of indigenous people live. It is quite typical for people to sleep in Chinchorros (huge hammocks) but we do provide a conventional bed option if you prefer!
Punta Gallinas: After the already remote Cabo de la Vela, we will be guided three more hours north to reach Punta Gallinas, the most northern point of South America. It’s a magical place and downwinding from the lagoon in-between mangroves until you reach the sea will make you understand why it’s one of the most beautiful places in the world to visit. WiFi access is slim to none, but this place offers the most amazing sky views at night.
Palomino: Small touristic beach village with great restaurants. The beach in Palomino is a long stretch of white sand, fringed by palm trees facing an endless azure sea. A great place to relax before heading back to the airport.

To join our Kite Safari in Colombia, you fly to Cartagena, CTG international airport (1.5 hours from the start of the camp) or Barranquilla, BAQ international airport (1.5 hours from camp). We organize your transportation from either of those two airports.
If you travel from Montreal, you can find direct flights to Cartagena for these dates with Air Transat.
To make a reservation, we need a 30% deposit and 70% payment 60 days prior to the trip.

Kite safari is limited to 10 person!
If you are not allowed to enter Colombia due to Colombia closing borders, you will receive a full refund.
If your country is not permitting you to travel due to border closures within your country, you will receive a partial refund of 30%.
If you are not able to make it to the camp due to your flight being canceled, or due to you getting COVID prior to travel, you will not receive any refund. You may wish to fly to Colombia a day or 2 earlier to avoid this (unlikely) possibility.
That being said, we have been traveling throughout COVID (Colombia, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Canada, USA, Bonaire, Switzerland) and I have not had a single flight canceled. My friends have also been traveling with great success. I think we are past those stressful days, thankfully.
This may sound harsh, but please be aware that even if you are not able to make it, we still have to pay our staff and the resort to run this camp. Your kind understanding is much appreciated.
Most countries can enter Colombia without a visa and stay for up to 90 days as a tourist. Please double-check that for your country before you travel. A very friendly user platform is available at www.airheart.com
In Colombia the power plugs and sockets are of type A and B. Please check out this page to know if you need an adapter from the country you are travelling from.
Yes, our accommodation provides WIFI. In Santa Veronica it is quite reliable but Cabo de la vela and Punta gallinas not so much. In case of you need to be online all the time, we can organize you a local SIM card.
